He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick R. Uhlenhopp and Katie Elizabeth Uhlenhopp (Beenken); his daughter Belinda Sue Gradert; and his sister Verna Izer. He is survived by: his children, Delbert Lee Uhlenhopp, Jr. of Kansas and Karen Boyer (Blue) of Kesley, Iowa; his grandsons, Jeremiah and Jonathan Romo; and his siblings, Dickie Uhlenhopp of Waverly, Iowa, Dorothy DeBeer of Parkersburg and Katheryn Hartzell (Roger) of Shell Rock, Iowa. He is also survived by 5 step grandchildren; twelve step great grandchildren.
