He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Carolus and Julane Carolus (Osheim). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Carolus; his sons, Darin Carolus (Nancy) of Reno, NV, Colin Carolus (Jenny) of Vinton and Grant Carolus (Holly) of Waterloo; his sister Diane Dougherty (Ron) of Ankeny; and his grandchildren, Emily Carolus, Rachel Carolus, Austin Carolus (Cheyenne), Ryan Carolus, Levi Carolus, Nolan Carolus, Justin Damm and Blake Damm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Delbert's name to Cedar Falls Amvets Post 49, or Cedar Valley Hospice.
