He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schults and Rhoda Schults (Martin). He is survived by: his wife Judy Melcher; his children, Tim Schults (Rita) of Waverly, Kevin Schults of Waterloo, Ryan Schults (Jess) of Traer, Greg Melcher (Lisa) of Parkersburg, Jeff Melcher (Jodi) of Holland, Michele Zimmerman (Mike) of Springville and Jerry Melcher (Jan) of Parkersburg; and his sister Rhoda Spore of Waterloo. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
