He was predeceased by: his brothers, Donald, Tom, John, Vince and Jim (Mary Moylan).
He is survived by: his wife Diane Elliott Downing; his stepchildren, Darcy Gliem (Travis), Scott Downing and Troy Downing; his grandchildren, Dalton Downing (Mikayla), Shane Gliem, Dylan Downing, Jefferson and T. J. Gliem; his great grandchildren, Garrett, Georgianne and Amelia Downing; and his siblings, Elizabeth Peterson, Tracy, Calif, Catherine Wilhelm (Bob), Mike Arganbright (Mary) and Linden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
