She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Adams and Gladys Adams; her husband Irv Gerlich; her daughters, Lora Lee and Lynn Thornberry; her former husband Jim Hartman; and her siblings, Carmen and Jack.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Gerlich (Karen) of Panora, Jule Reynolds (Ted) of Des Moines and Lonna Nauman (Kevin) of Panora; her son-in-law Stan Thornberry (Kim); her nieces and nephews, Ellen Elliott (Dave), Jane Frazier (Bob), Jack Lickes (Jackie) and Keith Gerlich (Donna); her grandchildren, Ann Stutler, Curt Thornberry, Maggie Armstrong (Brown), Erin Gerlich, Adam Reynolds, Liz Ratcliff and Wyatt Nauman; and her friends, Norma Clegg and Marilee Rice. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
