He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Melton and Ethel Melton (Hutzell); his wife Beverly Bennett; his brother-in-law Ronald Perrigo; his niece Cinda Perrigo; and his siblings-in-law, Floyd and Anita Barcus.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Melton (Jackie) of Grimes, Janna Brantley (Denny) of Papillion, NE and Curtis Melton (Krysty) of Guthrie Center; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Jaqueline), Rachel (Larry), Jordyn (Melanie), Justyn and Cinda Jean (Chris); his great grandchildren, Hailey (Taylor), Emric, Natalie, Austin, Claudia, Ruby, Morgan, Bryce and Ian; and his sister Shirley Perrigo.
