With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Lee Boots of Panora, Iowa, born in Jefferson, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Boots and Saundra Boots (Haden). He is survived by: his wife Johanna Boots of Redfield; his children, Shane Boots (Lacey) of Clive, Eric Cochran (Stacey) of Jacksonville, FL, Kye Cross (Jen) of Ankeny and Emelie Cross (Donny) of Perry; his grandchildren, Motley, Holland, Noah and Brixton; and his sisters, Debra Contner (Tod) of Rippey and Diane Foster (Denny) of Lake. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Twigg Funeral Home - Panora (219 E Main St, Panora, IA 50216). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Dallas County Fair Board. Keep David (Dave)'s legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
