He is survived by: his father Nicholas "Nickie"; his former spouse Carmen Ann Heese; his wife Carmie Gubbels of Earling, Iowa; his sons, Tyler Wood (Chad) of Norwalk and Terry Gubbels (Michelle) of Earling; his grandchildren, Nickolas, Melanie and William; his pet Sugar; his mother Marge Gubbels of Harlan; his siblings, Phil Gubbels (Denise) of Panama, Dean Gubbels (Norma) of Panama, Mary (Mike Tremel) of Earling, Susie (Mike Wingert) of Panama and Joe Gubbels (Joan) of Harlan; and his father-in-law Vince Heese of Earling. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
