She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Zimmerman and Dorothy Zimmerman (Willmes); her husband Alvin Stessman; her son Paul Stessman; and her siblings, Harold Zimmerman, Marcene Twark and Grace Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Stessman (Tracy) of Ankeny, Iowa, Jim Stessman of Harlan, Iowa, Patrick Stessman of Panama, Iowa, Carol Kloewer (Dan) of Omaha, Nebraska and Dan Stessman of Grimes, Iowa; her grandsons, John Kloewer and Stephen Kloewer; and her siblings, Elaine Zimmerman of Panama, Iowa, Allan Zimmerman of Panama, Iowa and Don Zimmerman of Earling, Iowa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
