He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martin Mages and Alva Mages (Munchrath) of Panama; his wife Lori Kleffman; his children, Randy Mages (Suzie) of Portsmouth, David Mages (Jill) of Panama, Danny Mages (Abbie) of Earling and Becky (Nathan Pieken) of Avoca, Iowa; and his siblings, Marge (Rod Bach) of Council Bluffs, Jeanie Mages of Council Bluffs, Betty (Steve Klein) of Earling, Karen (Bill Holt) of Dayton, Don Mages (Darlene) of Panama, Joe Mages of Panama and Susie (Brian Kelling) of Olathe, Kansas.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Parish Hall (104 N 2nd St, Panama, IA 51562). A prayer was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church (208 St Marys Ave, Panama, IA 51562).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Panama American Legion, Myrtue Medical Hospice or Relay for Life.
