He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred C. and Antilia C. Wingert (Blum); and his brothers, Donald and Richard. He is survived by: his wife Katherine M. Kohles (Karen); his children, Michele Weis (Craig), LuAnn Schwery (John), Glenn Wingert (Mariann), Dan Wingert (Laura), Janet Kummerfeldt (Jeff) and Cindy Boysen (Mitch); his siblings, Ken Wingert (Mary), Mark Wingert (Maria) and Joan Wingert (Jill Zasadny); and his sisters-in-law, Angie Wingert and Barb Wingert.

Memorials may be directed to the wishes of the family.
