He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Wood and Geneva Powell Wood; his former wife Elaine Kay Ingledue; and his sister Harlietta Helland. He is survived by: his wife Laura Kay Watson of Shellsburg; his sons, Gregory M. Wood (Theresa) of Dysart and Johnathan A. Wood (Suzanne) of Marion; his grandchildren, Leaha Campbell of Cedar Rapids, Leora Wood of Marion, Madison Graff of Marion and Griffin Wood of Marion; his parents-in-law, Marvin and Margaret Baumgartner of Dubuque; and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Brokel of Lisbon, Leigh Swaney of Las Vegas and Ray Helland of Des Moines. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
