He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Dale Miller and Helen Miller (Farmer); his wife Carol; his grandson-in-law Kevin Klingbeil; his brother Lloyd Miller (Lavonne); and his brothers-in-law, Jay Hinz, Marlon Truelson, Pete Petersen, Vernie Hansen, Vernon Torreson (Alice) and Donald Torreson.
He is survived by: his daughter Laure Miller (Bud Lickteig) of Emmetsburg; his grandson Austin Oppenheimer (Emma); his daughter Barbara Brewster (Kevin) of Stevens Point; his grandchildren, Marlicia Larson (Jerrad) and Ethan Brewster; his daughter DeeAnn Bates (Rick) of Estherville; his granddaughters, Jessica Day (Chad) and Molly Hamilton (Adam); his daughter Sandy Clayton (Steve) of Estherville; his grandchildren, Sarah Clayton, Christa Klingbeil and Joe Clayton; his siblings, AnnaBelle (Hinz), Lavonne "Bonnie" Riggert (Al), Jenese Truelson, Ruth Miller, Mary Petersen and James Miller (Linda); his sisters-in-law, Helen Hansen, Ruth Duhn (Marvin) and Vicky Torreson; and also, Chancey, Creed, Korban, Truitt, Jack, Knox, Kylah, James and Caleb.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Bethel Lutheran Food Pantry or to Bethel Lutheran Church for updates.
