He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Farrier and Tempest Farrier; his children, Andy and Jackie; his brothers, Leo, Lester, Marion Jr. and Gerald; his nephews, Tom Pohren, Bill Behrends and Bobby Farrier; and his sons, Jim Farrier of Cedar Rapids and Matt (Sara Farrier) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Kay" (McDanal) of Fairfield; his grandchildren, Luke, Avery and Sloane; his sisters, Betty Fahy of Scottsdale, AZ, Rennie Wakeland of Washington, IA, Wanda Lowe (Charlie) of Washington, IA, Joan Norton of North Liberty, IA and Kay Pohren (Dick) of Pleasant Plain, IA; his siblings-in-law, Hayden and Pat McDanal; and his niece Katie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
