It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donna Hicks (Pacific Junction, Iowa), born in Humboldt, Nebraska, who passed away on October 18, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Beverly Dean Hicks; her siblings, John "Bud" Halterman and Beverly Jean Durfey; and her stepdaughter Sandra Baker. She is survived by: her children, Deloris Elaine, Sharon Kay, Loren Allyn, James Wesley, Deloris Young (Gene) of Bois D'Arc, MO, Sharon Duysen (Paul) of Papillion, NE, Allyn Mayer of Tabor, IA and James Mayer (Suzanne) of Cape Coral, FL; her stepchildren, Carole Major Iverson, Marcy Schroeder, Jeannie Warren-Strunk and Jacki Ives-Baumann; and her sister Shirley Turner of Pacific Junction. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to the Bloom Senior Center.
