He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Henkelman and Patricia Henkelman (Krantz); his sister Joanne Staton; his niece Danielle Waechter; and his father-in-law Darrell Netolicky.

He is survived by: his wife Gina Henkelman; his children, Joe Henkelman (Ana), Mikey Henkelman (Erin), Lisa Betts (Steve), Cris Bulten (Angie) and Tonya Bulten; his siblings, Therese Schebler and Nick Henkelman; his brothers-in-law, Joe Schebler, Trent Netolicky and Mitch Turner; his grandchildren, Harrison, Sawyer, Chase, Jaycee, Zach, Lexi, James, Averi, Rigel and Elara; his nieces and nephews, Amanda Petersen (Tony), Catie Henkelman, Scott Ellis and Chris Ellis; his aunts and uncles, Cleo Garrison, Agnes Menze, Max Kenkel, Joe and Loretta Kenkel; his mother-in-law Joyce Netolicky; and also Jay. He is also survived by many cousins, Great-nephews, and countless friends.
