He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kahler and Rosie Rotter Kahler. He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Kapfer; his daughter Becky Steele of Marion; his grandchildren, Melissa Etheredge (Steve) of Wellman and Brian Dolezal (Dessirae) of Marion; and his sisters-in-law, Tom Kapfer (Teresita), Carol Kapfer and Mary Ellen Marks (Roger). He is also survived by his parents, his wife and faithful companion.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
