He is survived by: his sister Oxford; his foster daughter Dea; his wife Linda Herring of Tiffin, IA; his children, Julie Mougin of Homestead, Bobby Herring (Misty) of Homestead, IA, Chris Kasper of Tiffin, IA, Lisa Herring of Tiffin, IA, Kim Askam (Steve) of Muscatine, IA, Anthony Herring (Alicia) of North Liberty, IA, Missy Herring of Coralville, IA, Dani Herring of Homestead, IA and Dea Stratton (Jeff) of Homestead, IA; and his siblings, Jack Herring (Ilene) of Iowa City, IA, Tim Herring (Diane) of Ainsworth, IA, Gene Herring (Jeannie) of Marion, IA and Helen Davis (Bruce) of Iowa City, IA. He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
