She was predeceased by: her parents, Mellen William and Mae Ferne Schmidt; her husband Adolph Carl Walters; and her parents-in-law, Carl and Meta Walter.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Vawter (Ken) of Newhall and Kenny Walters (Marcia) of Oxford; her grandchildren, Kelcy Brecht (Aaron) of Ankeny, Eric Vawter (Joy Popelar) of Newhall, Camille Gott (Tim) of Ryan and Travis Walters (Carrie Roller) of Oxford; her great grandchildren, Brody Brecht (Tayla Ayers), Adyson Brecht, McCoy Walters, Sophie Gott, Brooklynn Roller and Blaire Walters; and her brother Vernon Schmidt (Shirley) of Williamsburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hospice Compassus or the Oxford Fire and First Responders.
