He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Jean Retherford; his grandson Alex La Rue; and his sister Janice McCormick. He is survived by: his sons, Rod La Rue (Deb), Bruce La Rue, Warren La Rue (Susan) and Ken La Rue (Shannon); his grandchildren, Greg La Rue (Kristen Liebert), Eric La Rue (Ashley), Isaac La Rue, Cooper La Rue (Jessica Behrens), Julia La Rue and Breanna Smith (Bret); and his great grandchild Gavin La Rue.

The family requests no flowers.
