He was predeceased by: his parents, Reno Henry Arthur and Juanita May Walter (Schlotterbeck); his wife Carol Ann Westemeier; and his parents-in-law, Ray and Leona Westemeier.
He is survived by: his children, Kris Walter of Oxford and Dan Walter (Kathy) of West Memphis, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Angel, Caden, Emily and Jasmine Walter; his brothers, Todd Walter (Lori) of Oxford and Duane Walter (Jane) of Swisher; and his brothers-in-law, Carl Westemeier of Cedar Rapids and Alvin Westemeier (Pam) of Coggon.
Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Essence of Life Hospice.
