He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Murphy and Jean Murphy (Southworth); his sisters, Cindy Vander Linden and Shelly Murphy; and his nephew Chad Newmire.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie Murphy; his daughters, Nikki Kruse and Stephanie Eakes (Murphy); his siblings, Deb, Terri, Christine and Mike; his stepchildren, Chris and Samantha Buck; his grandchildren, Timothy, Chloe and Lilly; his cousins, Randy (Terry) and Larry Murphy; and his pets, Wylye, Peaches and Sebastian. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces.
