She was predeceased by: her parents, Verton Snyder and Glendora Snyder; and her sisters, Janette Rowland and Emily Staley. She is survived by: her husband James L. Vance; her children, Jacob Vance (Ashley Kellenberger), Christy Vance, Jimmy Vance (Kate) and Johnathan Vance (Amy Hunzinger); her grandchildren, Brandon, Gabby, Axel, Caryssa, Mychael, Mycala and Loretta; her great grandchild Emberlynn Brother Wilbert "Butch" Snyder; and her pet Pugsley.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Clara's memory.
