She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Westemeier and Leona Westemeier (Novak). She is survived by: her husband Kevin Walter of Oxford; her children, Kris Walter of Oxford and Dan Walter (Kathy) of West Memphis, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Angel, Caden, Emily and Jasmine Walter; her brothers, Carl Westemeier of Cedar Rapids and Alvin Westemeier (Pam) of Coggin; and her brothers-in-law, Todd Walter (Lori) of Oxford and Duane Walter (Jane) of Swisher. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established for Lutheran Interparish School (L.I.S).
