With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Sawyer of Oxford Junction, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on June 28, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard "Bill" Sawyer and Alice Sawyer (Kirk); and his wife Gwen Eakle. He is survived by: his daughters, Darla Holden (Jerry) and Rhonda (David); his grandsons, Matthew and Mark Mossner (Jenna); and his siblings, Phyllis Haisch and David Sawyer (Rebecca).
