It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Balichek of Oxford Junction, Iowa, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Balichek and Lenora Balichek. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Renee Schwantes (Dave), Melissa Balichek and Sara Kroening (Conrad); his grandchildren, Joshua Schwantes (Mariah Lang) and Cara Schwantes; and his sister Bonnie Hoffman.
