He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carstensen and Katheryn Carstensen (Hodgden); and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Merilyn McClure; and his children, Jon Carstensen of Mechanicsville, Jeff Carstensen (Beth) of Oxford Junction and Jodi Streeper (Steve) of Conroy. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
