She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Shondel and Grace Shondel (Dennison); her husband Thomas Adkins; and her siblings, Anna Wagner, Ella Greiner, Mabel Shondel, Debra Hedquist, Charlotte Donahue, Tina Scott, Robert Shondel, Clyde Shondel Jr., Herbert Shondel and Fred Shondel.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Adkins (Traci) of Libertyville, Kaylea Adkins of Ottumwa and Trevor Miller of Ottumwa; her grandchildren, Madyson, Chloe, Olivia, Logan, Landen, Elexus, Brooklyn and Tucker; her significant other O. C. Davis; and her brothers, Michael of Fairfield, Albert of Fairfield, Doug of Fairfield and Larry Shondel of Fairfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
