In the vast expanse of eternity, Sherman Thomas shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sherman Thomas farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Miller and Virginia Lewman Miller; his sister Alice Caviness; and his son-in-law Chris Feldmann. He is survived by: his close friend Ginny of Ottumwa, IA; and his children, April Moore (Greg), Sherman Miller Jr., Robert Miller of Ottumwa and Amy Feldmann of Bloomfield, IA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, a sister, as well as many extended family.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pittsburg Cemetery.
