She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Guy William and Edythe Luella Britton Gookin; her former husband John Thompson; her husband Fred Genochio; her sister Louise (Bill Thrasher); her brother-in-law Larry Radcliff; her daughters, Juanita Plitt (Charles), Judy Tuck of Anniston, AL and Jean Walker (Murrial) of Bethany, OK; her grandchildren, Michell Henry (Jason), Jeff Manshaw (Dana), Jennifer and John; her great grandchildren, Zachary, Kyle, Jaden, Austin, Kaitlyn, William and Lauren; her great great grandchild Kimberly; and her sister Geneva Radcliff.
Memorials may be made to the Nazarene Church.
