She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Auten and Margaret Auten (Rhum); her spouse Jerry Jon Brodie; and her siblings, Wilber Auten, Douglas Auten and Victoria Presler.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Brodie II of Ames and Catherine Kahler (Ryan) of Ottumwa; her grandchildren, Lisa Baker (Derek), Adam Brodie (Rebecca), Taylor Brodie (Megan), Emily Kahler (Kris Waller), Alex Kahler (Juanita Hughes) and Sarah Kahler (Austin Hutchinson); her great grandchildren, Cecilia Hughes, Tyson Herberlin, Caitlin Brodie, William Brodie, Olivia Baker and Ella Baker; and her siblings, Jerry Auten (Ruth) of Fort Dodge and Susan Tallman (Roy) of Harcourt.
