He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Johnson and Marie Johnson (Miller); his wife Genevieve Crane; his son Neil C. Johnson; and his siblings, Loren Johnson, Helen Campbell, Rex Johnson, Lucille Lowenburg and Ruth Cobler.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Johnson (Glori); and his grandsons, Garrett L. Johnson, Jarrett T. Johnson and Wyatt J. Johnson.
