She was predeceased by: her parents, J. David Carpenter, Sr. and Eloise Katherine Fuller Carpenter. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth and Amy; and her sisters, Connie Soudan and Jane West. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ottumwa Cemetery (1302 N Court St, Ottumwa, IA 52501).
