He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul LaPoint and Juanita LaPoint; and his siblings, Marilyn (Don McLaughlin), Jerri LaPoint of Eldon, MO, Howard and Richard LaPoint.
He is survived by: his children, Brent, Terry, Lori and Tracy; his sisters, Glenda Stephens (Grady) of Gilbert, LA and Willa Stanley (Ron) of Hedrick, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret LaPoint and Christena LaPoint. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
