He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Mary Catherine Sandknop Ragland; his grandson Charles Henry Ragland; his sisters, Kaye Bloom, Anne Eyler and Mary Roettger; and his niece Suzanne Bloom.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalea Lawson; his children, Kathleen Henricksen (Bill), Erin McDonald (Reid), John Ragland (Kam) and Jim; and also, Mary Claire Henricksen, Will Henricksen, Mia McDonald, Nolan McDonald, Ivy and Jackson Ragland.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at the Knox County Community Center in Edina, Missouri.
