He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Blomgren and Susie Blomgren; his stepmother Edith Blomgren; his former wife Correne; his grandparents, Emanuel, Matilda Blomgren, William and Rose Waters; his siblings, Marilyn Blomgren, Mary Sue Slay, Sharon Speck and Junior; his nephew Kevin Bunch; and his brother-in-law Robert Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Trainum (Matt) of Dows, Iowa, Jennifer Wilson (Jamie) of Sioux Rapids, Iowa and Jerry Blomgren (Darla) of Swisher, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Jacob Gasperi of Ames, Iowa, Avery Wilson of Sioux Rapids, Iowa and Dallas Portz (Clarissa) of North Liberty; his great grandchild Sophia Portz of North Liberty; his sisters, Sherry Clark of Centerville and Judy Jones (Bill) of Albia; and also Scott.
