He was predeceased by: his parents, James H., Sr. and Margaret Cutsforth (Hruska); his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Hazel Sharp; his brothers-in-law, Lyle Lechtenberg and Merlin Sharp; and his great-niece Kellie Ann Sharp.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis of Ottumwa; his sons, Brian Cutsforth (Keitha) of Ottumwa, Patrick (Shannon) of North Liberty, IA and Sean Cutsforth of Ottumwa; his grandchildren, Emily Rader (Justin) of Ottumwa, Thomas Cutsforth of Davenport, IA and Alison Cutsforth of Ottumwa; his siblings, Terry Cutsforth (Bonnie) of Fredericksberg, IA, Sheila Koepp (Dennis) of Decorah, IA and Sandy Lechtenberg of Stewartville, MN; and his siblings-in-law, LaVonne Sharp of Decorah, IA, Caryl Sharp of Spring Valley, MN and John Sharp (JoAnn) of Decorah, IA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
