With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harriette Rachel Stanley of Ottumwa, Iowa, born in Sigourney, Iowa, who passed away on July 23, 2020 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harriette Rachel Stanley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Atwood and Vera Garrett Atwood; her husband Hoyte Stanley; and her siblings, Margaret Atwood, Marianne White and Cecil Atwood.
She is survived by: her children, Vernon Stanley of Sigourney and Nancy Bishop (David) of Ottumwa; and her granddaughters, Valerie Hoffer of Sigourney, Sherry Manville of Sigourney, Christine Gehrig (Tony) of Sigourney and Paula Lopp (Tom) of Blakesburg. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; five nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Gibson Presbyterian Church or Sixteen Cemetery.
