He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Sapp (Richards). He is survived by: his father Gerald G. Sapp of Glendale Az; his children, Dakota Sapp (Jennifer Townsend) of Ottumwa and Katelynn Pickrell (Ryne) of Ottumwa; his siblings, Anita Barker (Tony) of Ottumwa, Sherry Sapp of Ottumwa and Harold Sapp (Beth) of Glendale Az; his nieces, Brooke Barker (Tyler Keck) of Ottumwa, Cindy Barker (Caleb Mitchell) of Ottumwa and Raechel Sapp of Glendale, AZ; and his grandchildren, Laynee Jo, Brennick Sapp, Lily and Noah Pickrell.

Memorials may be given to the family to be put towards a memorial for Gerald.
