She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Cosgrove and Maxine Cosgrove (Bettis); her husband Lester Grunig; and her siblings, Kay Douglas, Karyn Forsythe, Craig Cosgrove, Gene Clark and Chris Cosgrove.
She is survived by: her children, Sean Lampier (Ashley), Leanne Shehan (Gary) and Molly Patterson (Matt); her grandchildren, Trice, Tylee, Colton (Brenda), Bethany (Dalton), Nate and Jay; her great grandchildren, Reya, Letty and Bowen; her brother Mike Cosgrove (Carol); and her siblings-in-law, Kay Cosgrove and J. D. Clark. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (116 Benton Ave E, Albia, IA 52531). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
An open memorial has been established to be determined at a later date.
