He is survived by: his wife Nancy Cecelia Wick of Ottumwa; his children, Theresa (Mike Wallace), Kim (Tim Thornbrugh) and Kevin Joseph (Connie McDowell); his siblings, Randy (Patty McDowell) of Fairfield and Patricia Coffin of Fairfield; his sister-in-law Amy McDowell; his grandchildren, Amy Scott (Jeff), Sharon Wallace, Lisa Sullivan (James), Joshua Thornbrugh (Shannon Ash), Jessica Stuckey (Chris), J. D. Copple (Heather) and Levi McDowell (Raelyn); his siblings, Doug McDowell and Wilda Nelson; and his great grandchild Kensley. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and many nieces, nephews and friends.
