He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Ferguson and Marian Ferguson; and his sister Janice. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ferguson; his children, Duane Ferguson Jr. and Sheila Evans (Mick); his grandchildren, Michael, Amy, Julie, Nathan and Bud; and his brother Dwight Ferguson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and numerous foster children.

Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family.
