He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Collmann and Esther Collmann (Bleuer); his wife Joan Crane; and his stepsons-in-law, Mike Richardson and Bruce Boyle.
He is survived by: his former spouse Mardeen Dahl; his daughters, Amy Breitbach (Steve) and Charlene Fairchild (Tim); his stepdaughters, June Richardson, Jane Boyle and Rachel Claussen; and his brother Robert "Bob" Collmann (Mary). He is also survived by one stepson; many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
