With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Heying of Ossian, Iowa, who passed away on September 28, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Heying and Agnes Heying (Bohr); his parents-in-law, Dan and Helen Lukes; and his siblings, Hugo (Lucille Heying), Ruth (Ray Langreck), Irvin (Marion Heying), Kay (Stan Humpal), Elsie (Donald Timp), Roselyn (Gene Bodensteiner), Cleo Heying, Larry Heying and Joyce (Dick Shindelar).
He is survived by: his wife Linda (Lukes); his daughters, Gwen Seeley of Catskill, NY and Dawn; his son-in-law Dan Moe of Chanhassen, MN; his children, Chad of Calmar, IA and Gina Cook of Burnsville, MN; his grandchildren, Bella, Lili Seeley, Carson, Avery Moe, Elise Cook (David Churchill) and Sam Cook; his pets, Charlie and Whitey; his siblings, Marcy (Larry Havel) and Donald (Carolyn Heying); and his in-laws, Larry Lukes, Vic Lukes, Lana Lukes, Elaine Heying and Emily Heying. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
