She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Fretheim and Cora Fretheim (Nesheim); her husband Bernell Dehning; and her daughter Linda Waits. She is survived by: her children, Ron Dehning (Jill) of Postville, IA, Daryl Dehning (Pam) of Calmar, IA, Denise Balik (Gary) of Waucoma, IA, Lowell Dehning of Ossian and Alan Dehning (Ronda) of Cresco, IA; her niece Rita Olsen (Ron) of Cresco; and her nephew Fred Walter (Julie) of Cresco. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
