He is survived by: his former spouse Jean Aanes; his wife Karlene Emerson of Ossian; his children, Krisanne Hemesath of Rochester, MN and Kurt D. "Norske" Anfinson of Ossian, IA.; his granddaughter Michelle Ewy (Darren) of Rochester, MN.; his great grandchildren, Henry and William Ewy; his siblings-in-law, LaRue Anfinson of Waukee, IA., Stanley Emerson (Barb) of Mason City, IA and Darrell Emerson (June) of Iowa Falls, IA.; his former wife Jean Anfinson; his brothers, Ahlert Anfinson (Alice), Kermit Anfinson (LaVonne), Ernest Anfinson (Betty) and Wayne Anfinson; his parents-in-law, Russell and Hildred Emerson; his brother-in-law Larry Emerson; and his nieces, Gwendolyn Anfinson, Marilyn Anfinson and Janelle McCubbin.
