Walter Strawn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2021, at the age of 79, Walter Strawn of Oskaloosa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Strawn and Northa Strawn (Johnson); his former wife Patricia Garden; his wife Jane Strawn; his former wife Patricia Strawn; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Strawn.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Strawn (Ann) of Clive, Pam Harrison of Waukee, Brant Baker (Vanessa) of Des Moines and DeAnn Knoot (Brent) of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Lexus, Sam, Taylor, Leah, Paiven, Jack, Emily, Parker, Brock, Tate and Clark; and his siblings, Dennis Strawn of St. Charles, Alice Slye (Garald) of Norwalk, Russell Strawn (Joyce) of Florida, Phil Strawn (Carmen) of Colorado and Charles Strawn (Audrey) of St. Charles.
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event.
Memorials may be made to the Elks Lodge in Oskaloosa.
