It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Dunbar (Oskaloosa, Iowa), born in Rose Hill, Iowa, who passed away on August 19, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Gable and Verla Gable (Stout); her husband Elmer Dunbar; her siblings, Eugene Gable and Pauline Hite; and her granddaughter Michelle Hamlin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Lichter (Mike) of Marietta and Vicki Dunbar (Don Haines) of Iowa City; her grandson Aaron Swisher; and her sister Mary Lou Sedrel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family respectfully requests no plants or flowers, memorials may be made to Rose Hill Community Church or Oskaloosa Senior Center.
