Sylvia McClune Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia McClune of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on December 14, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin McCulley and Gesina McCulley (Brau); and her brother Richard McCulley. She is survived by: her former husband Paul McClune; her daughters, Paulette Dietrich (Ronald), Suzette McClune and Lynette Cline (Robert); her grandchildren, Ryan Dietrich (Rachel), Barry Dietrich (Laura), Alex Waite (Kristi), Eric Eckmann (Nadine), Ian McClune (Vanessa), Margo Cline and Kyle Cline; her great grandchildren, Colton Dietrich, Cooper Dietrich, Kaelyn Dietrich, Lillian Waite, Augustus Waite and Eliza McClune; her brother Donnovan McCulley (Tess); her half-sisters, Sandi Mueller and Lynda Ambrose; and her sister-in-law Pat McCulley.

Memorials may be made to the Montezuma American Legion Auxiliary or the Poweshiek Historical Society.
