Shirley Ann Bruxvoort Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2020, at the age of 84, Shirley Ann Bruxvoort of Oskaloosa, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Ann Bruxvoort to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Engelhoven and Engelene DeKock Engelhoven; and her siblings, Laura Slagter (George), Neva Vogelaar (Harold), Edna Fynaardt (Leland), Virgil Engelhoven and Harley Engelhoven.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Bruxvoort of Oskaloosa; her children, Bob (Deb Bruxvoort), Jay (Diane Bruxvoort), Diane (Alistair Cowie) and Judi (Dennis Veldhuizen); and her grandchildren, Rob Bruxvoort (Leah), Nicole Vos (Randy), Jason Bruxvoort (Salli), Dan Bruxvoort (Carol), Angie Groenenboom (Doug), Mandy Johnston (Curt), Abby Canfield (Scott), Dustin Veldhuizen (Megan), Michael Whitby (Kelly) and Cassandra Whitby. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event. Shirley's family request that those in attendance please wear a mask while attending visitation and the funeral ceremony.
Memorials may be made to the Oskaloosa Christian School or MHP Hospice Serenity House.
